Castellana Grotte: holidays in Puglia
Castellana Grotte, one of the most important and visited tourist destination of
Apulia, is about 35 Kms far from
Ostuni.
Castellana Grotte, is ml 290 on the level of the sea, and it is famous for the
beauty of the near caves.
The caves of Castellana give life to the more important Italian speleological
assemblage.
They can be found 2Kms from the inhabited centre and they contitute one of the
principal tourist destinations of Apulia.
Discovered by speleologist Franco Anelli, the Caves still today, even though
known and visited, solicit the taste of the adventure, exalted by the simbolic
names of the places:

After kilometres of runs between stalactites and stalagmites, the world of the
crystals it will be hardly forget.
