Vacations between trullos and farms
Alberobello, the city of the trullos, is about 30 Kms from Ostuni.
It is situated to m.416 on the sea level from which is 20 Kms far.
Alberobello is an unique show in the world that is dated back in 1481.
The neighbourhoods Monti and Aia Piccola, formed by trullos only, are national monuments.
From December 1996 they hae been declared from the U.N.E.S.C.O. World patrimony of the humanity.
The united and lined up trullos form two districts on two hills divided from an ancient river bed.
From the steep little streets, the inside structure of this particular construction, that can be easily visited, can be admired.
On this quadrangular environment they are "grafted" through arcades on the lateral side, that were destined for cooking and sleeping.
